New Client Information
Our firm has established a fee schedule for the preparation of reports known as Compliance Work. Compliance Work includes, but is not limited to, Annual Income Tax Returns, Monthly Sales Tax Reports, Quarterly Payroll Reports and Annual W-2s or 1099s. The fees cover the basic services required to prepare such reports. Additional fees may be incurred for extra tasks needing to be performed. Extra tasks may include, but are not limited to, phone calls placed by staff members to acquire information not provided by the client. Invoices with these additional fees will include detailed descriptions of the actual work performed.
An engagement letter will be prepared by our firm prior to the Preparation of Compiled or Audited Financial Statements. The letter will detail the anticipated fees to complete the project. Additional fees may be incurred due to unexpected services needing to be performed. Unexpected services may include, but are not limited to, accounting assistance provided to the client in order to calculate dollar amounts required to complete the Financial Statements accurately. Invoices with these additional fees will include detailed descriptions of the work performed.
Additional services provided by our firm include, but not limited to, Year End Tax Planning, Advice and Consultation on Various Taxing Authority Notices, and Assistance with Accounting Services and programs such as Quickbooks. These services are billed on an hourly rate with detailed descriptions of the services performed.
It is our goal to provide our clients “Quality Service with Positive Results” at a reasonable fee.
In order to achieve this goal, we require each of our staff members to keep a detailed log of their daily activities. This log includes all phone calls and meetings with clients and others as well as a detailed description and the actual amount of time spent on each activity. Occasionally, it is necessary for multiple employees to be involved in meetings or discussions. Therefore, various staff logs may include duplicate entries. In order to keep client costs to a minimum, we will apply a discount to invoices in which duplicate entries or occasional short phone calls are recorded.
